Every year, the National University of Singapore (NUS) launches their admissions publicity campaign that feature young NUS alumnus who stand out in their field and serve as inspiration to new blood. As luck is on my side, I was commissioned for the 3rd year in a row to be involved with the campaign.
The brief is to photograph 10 NUS alumnus in different days, different scenarios and locations significant to their field of expertise. The challenge was always to provide good context to the subject and what they do, while at the same time creating an interesting image given the location we were given. Another challenge was to create a new set of images that would somehow be better than the previous campaign… we wanted to produce something better, not just more of the same.

Big shout out to Candy for having me again for the shoot; to Melvin for the reliable assist, and Matthew and Zexun for covering my back.
